The Grow 73 board are delighted to announce that Eugenie Aroutcheff has been appointed as our Project Coordinator. Following an open recruitment process, Eugenie’s appointment means that we go into 2021 with experienced and dynamic leadership.

Eugenie’s To Do list is already pretty long!  We will shortly start initial works to develop our land at Overtoun Park into a garden and leisure space for the local community.  She will also lead our support for volunteers, develop our partnership work and deliver programmes of gardening and wellbeing activity remotely and in the wider community.

We are incredibly grateful to the Robertson Trust, Bank of Scotland Foundation, CRP Rail 74 and the National Lottery Community Fund’s Awards for All programme for funding this post.

Eugenie had previously worked closely with Lynn Semple over a number of years to build Grow 73.  We have no doubt that we have only reached this stage as a result of their years of hard work and relationship building.  We are enormously grateful for this and are seeking more funding to continue and grow the organisation’s work in future.

If you’re interested in finding out more about our work, or getting involved in our activities, please get in touch.  We’re also hoping to increase our members and board so please consider joining us – it’s the best £1 you’ll ever spend!  You can find out about membership at eugenie.a73@gmail.com  or on our website.
